Most Content Orchard, Certified Content, District Library, and template access problems come down to account type, subscription tier, or where you’re opening Pear Deck. Work through the section that matches what you’re seeing.

Orchard or Certified Content Isn’t Appearing

Certified Content and the full Content Orchard are available to school- and district-level Pear Deck accounts.
  • You can only preview the first two slides of a lesson. This is the expected behavior for accounts that are not part of a school or district subscription. Confirm your account tier under Check Your Account and Subscription Level.
  • Certified decks don’t show the Certified badge or don’t appear. Open the Content Orchard tab from the Pear Deck home page and confirm you’re signed in with your school account rather than a personal one.
See Pear Deck Certified Content for how the library is organized.

District Library Content Is Missing

The District Library is a shared, district-managed library with its own requirements.
  • The District Library tab isn’t there. The tab appears only for accounts on a domain or district Pear Deck subscription. Individual and free accounts do not have access.
  • You don’t see the tab inside your LMS. The District Library is available only from the Pear Deck web app at app.peardeck.com. It is not available inside Canvas, Schoology, or Microsoft Teams — open the web app instead.
  • A colleague’s lesson isn’t listed. A lesson appears only after it’s published, and it disappears if the author unpublishes it or a Subscription Manager removes a reported lesson.
See Use District Library for publishing and finding lessons.

Check Your Account and Subscription Level

Content availability depends on your account tier, so confirm it before assuming content is broken.
  1. Sign in at app.peardeck.com and confirm you’re using your school- or district-provided account, not a personal Google account.
  2. Review your plan. Free and individual accounts do not include the District Library and have limited Content Orchard previews; school and district plans unlock the full libraries. See Manage Your Pear Deck Account.
  3. If your district has a subscription but your account isn’t recognized as part of it, contact your Subscription Manager to confirm your account is included.

Request Content From Your Subscription Manager

Your Subscription Manager is the person in your district who manages the Pear Deck subscription and the District Library.
  • To add a lesson to the shared library, publish it yourself or ask a colleague to, following Use District Library.
  • To flag content that shouldn’t be in the library, use Report this File; the report goes to your Subscription Manager for review.
  • For access or subscription questions, see Subscription Manager Overview.

Contact Support

If content is still missing after you’ve confirmed your account and subscription, contact Pear Deck support with your account email, the lesson or template you’re trying to reach, and whether the problem happens in the web app, an LMS, or the Google Slides add-on.
