When you create a Pear Deck teacher account, Pear Deck requests access to certain files and identifying information in your Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive. These permissions allow Pear Deck to add interactivity to your slides and launch your presentations. Students do not need to create a Pear Deck account or grant file access when they join a teacher’s presentation session. If a student wants to create and present their own Pear Deck slides, they must create a teacher account and grant the required file access during that process.
