Notable Insights in Pear Assessment

This article is an overview of the notable report types available in Insights. You can navigate to Insights by clicking on it in the navigation menu and then clicking on your preferred report.

Single Assessment Reports

  • Assessment Summary: Quick statistics, school comparisons, and a summary by student performance bands. You can compare by teacher or class in the dropdown menu in the upper-right or filter by student subpopulation data by clicking Filters.
  • Question Analysis: Question-level analysis to identify challenging questions for students. You can also compare performance per question by class.
  • Response Frequency Analysis: Student performance by question type, including common mistakes and underperforming students.
  • Performance by Standards: Challenging standards and performance comparison based on the standards. Filter by student, class, school, and district.
  • Performance by Students: Student success based on proficiency band, including whether students need additional practice or remediation.

Multiple Assessment Reports

  • Performance Over Time: Performance comparison across several assessments. For example, evaluate student progress of the same standards over a unit or school year.
  • Peer Progress Analysis: A snapshot of student performance in sub-groups. Filter by class, standard, gender, race, IEP status, and more.
  • Student Progress View: Upward, downward, and neutral progress by students. Please click on the bar graph for detailed information about student performance.

Standards Mastery Reports

  • Student Profile Reports: Performance, mastery, and progress of each student. You can view the performance from Pear Assessment from the current year and prior academic years.
  • Student Mastery Profile: Standards-level performance data, links to student attempts, and performance statistics per standard.
  • Student Assessment Profile: Progress over time and includes all assessment data. You can click to view performance on both common assessments and teacher-created class assessments.
